I chose to focus on my favorite hobby, racing, for my web page. My son-in-law races drag boats. He runs over
100 m.p.h. I saw a boat go 225 m.p.h. in Fort Worth, Texas. He traveled 1/4 mile in 5 seconds. Believe me
that is flying, especially on water. A co-worker races winged sprint cars. These cars go about 120 m.p.h.
They are usually the fastest cars on the local tracks. I am at a dirt track or a boat race every Saturday night.
Sometimes you freeze; sometimes you burn up. The boat races are a full weekend event. I come home exhausted and sunburned.
I watch every NASCAR race on television. That is my Sunday afternoon relaxation.
